How do i pay?

Payment is simple. Once you are 100% happy with your menu, Private Chef Richard will send you an invoice through email. 

A 20% non refundable deposit is required to secure your date with any remaining balance to be paid no later than 14 days before the day of the event.

Any payments made to Private Chef Richard will receive confirmation by email.

What happens if i need to cancel my booking?

In the event you need to cancel for any reason your remaining balance will be fully refunded providing you inform us at least 14 days before the event.

What happens if the Private Chef Richard cancels?

In the very unlikely event we are forced to cancel your event due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, illness etc

you will get a full refund.

Will there be waiting staff?

Depending on the size of the party and how complex the menu is will determine if extra hands are needed, but either way  you will never pay extra for waiting staff.

Do you do kids menus?

We are more than happy to create a kids menu - 2 courses £20.00 pp (6-15 years old)

under 6 years old are £10.00 pp.

Do you bring plates and cutlery?

Yes!. The only thing we don't currently provide is glassware. 

Can you cater for my wedding?

We would love to discuss it with you.

I can't find what i want on your sample menu/prices page

These are just sample menus or what a previous client has chosen,

Your menu can have a theme, have a favourite dish or just something completely different.

The best thing to do is just let us know when you make an enquiry.


Who do you normally cater for?

Private Chef Richard has catered for intimate family gatherings to high-end celebrity dinners, From a hen/stag do, to a 50th wedding anniversary so there really isn't a type of client just a special occasion.
